Our biggest fundraiser of the year is back — and we’d love you to be part of it.
Join Team SPACE for the Great Big Walk for Herts and spend a Saturday walking through the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, while helping us raise vital funds to support neurodivergent children, young people and their families.
Last year, more than 40 brilliant Team SPACE walkers took part, raising over £20,000.
This year, we’d love to make an even bigger difference.
Choose your walk
Whether you fancy a shorter family-friendly walk or are ready to take on the full 13 miles, there are two ways to join us. This isn’t a race. Come along, enjoy the walk and take on the challenge your way.
5K
A shorter, family-friendly option for anyone who wants to be part of the day without taking on the full distance.
Starts: Lending SPACE, Stanstead Abbotts at 10am
Finishes: Hunsdon
Getting back: Our team will provide transport back to Lending SPACE
Afterwards: Join us for well-earned refreshments
13 MILES
Take on our beautiful circular route through the Hertfordshire countryside. Starting at Lending SPACE, the route takes you through the local countryside around Hunsdon, Widford, Wareside and Great Amwell before bringing you back to where you started.

There’s no minimum fundraising target – we’d just love you to raise as much as you can.
And this year, your donations will go twice as far.
This event is eligible for match funding with our partner Helping Herts, who are committed to supporting children and young people across Hertfordshire. Donations are doubled thanks to them.
That means every donation you raise can make an even bigger difference to the neurodivergent children, young people and families SPACE supports.
