Sarah’s family journey of support and giving back

At SPACE, we understand that raising a neurodivergent child comes with unique challenges. That’s why we’re here – to provide support, understanding, and a community where families don’t feel alone. Families like Sarah’s.

Sarah and her husband, Simon, have two neurodivergent children, each with very different needs. Like so many families, they’ve faced moments of uncertainty, overwhelm, and isolation. But through SPACE, they found a support network that truly understands their journey.

“I don’t know where we would be without SPACE. Being supported by friendly faces who truly ‘get it’ has been a lifesaver in so many ways.”

Through our specialist workshops, family support service, and inclusive activities like pottery painting, climbing, and animal encounters, SPACE has helped Sarah’s children build confidence, make friends, and feel accepted for who they are.

Now, Sarah is giving back – by taking part in our One Million Steps Challenge throughout February to raise funds and awareness for SPACE. And she’s not alone! Over 30 supporters are stepping up to help us continue providing life-changing support to neurodivergent children and their families.

Join Sarah in making a difference. Donate, share or even take on a challenge yourself – because together, we can create a world where every neurodivergent child and their family feel supported, valued and understood.

And here’s the best part – every pound you donate will be match-funded by Helping Herts, instantly doubling your impact! That means your support will go even further in ensuring no family has to navigate this journey alone.
