Are you passionate about inclusion and committed to making a real difference? Do you have a talent for delivering engaging and impactful training to diverse audiences? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
We are a Hertfordshire-based charity dedicated to empowering and supporting families raising neurodivergent children and young people through a range of programmes and services.
As part of this, we offer an extensive free training programme for parents and carers, alongside a growing paid-for training arm that delivers high-quality training on neurodiversity and inclusion to workplaces and professionals.
All profits from our paid training directly support our charitable services, ensuring that parent carers of neurodivergent children and young people continue to receive the support they need.
About the role
- Deliver training both online and in person on a range of neurodiversity-related topics to diverse audiences, including professionals in workplaces, health, education, and social care, as well as parent carers and neurodivergent individuals.
- Adapt content and delivery style to meet the needs of each group, ensuring an engaging, inclusive and accessible learning experience.
- Deliver training confidently both independently and as part of a team, depending on the session.
- Support business development, identifying and pursuing opportunities to expand our training offer and reach new audiences.
- Work flexibly across Hertfordshire and beyond (travel expenses covered).
- Support the development of training materials to ensure they remain up to date and relevant.
About you
- A passion for inclusion and empowering others through training and education.
- Experience in training delivery, ideally within the fields of neurodiversity, SEND, or education.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage different audiences with empathy.
- Confidence and adaptability to deliver training in a range of settings.
- A flexible and proactive approach to training delivery.
- An ability to identify and cultivate new training opportunities.
We are particularly interested in candidates with lived experience – whether as a neurodivergent individual or as a parent/carer of a neurodivergent child or young person.
📍 Location: Stanstead Abbotts and hybrid, with Hertfordshire-wide and national travel (expenses covered when working away from the office/training space).
⏳ Hours: 37.5 per week (with varied working patterns throughout the week). Job share applications will be considered.
💰 Salary: from £27,000 FTE depending on experience.
📅 Closing Date: Friday 28th March 2025, 5pm
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing training team that not only equips professionals, families, and neurodivergent individuals with essential knowledge but also helps sustain and expand the vital work we do as a charity.
