SPACE launches new in person support group in Buckinghamshire

We were delighted to be joined by the Mayor of High Wycombe, Paul Turner, Sue Hynard, a representative from the office of Steve Baker MP, and over 40 parents and professionals today for the launch of SPACE Buckinghamshire.

The Launch included a talk by the SPACE Buckinghamshire team, who spoke about their new daytime Family Support Group for Buckinghamshire families, as well as sharing their vision for the future growth of the charity, in line with the work that SPACE Hertfordshire are already doing. A presentation from SPACE Hertfordshire shared about the work that we currently do.

We were delighted that the Mayor of High Wycombe, Paul Turner, was able to attend. Paul shared his enthusiasm and passion for the much needed work that we are starting in supporting local families.

The Family Support Group will meet every second Monday of the month at Cafe Mosaic at The Hive in High Wycombe from 10am-midday.

Parents of children and young people with diagnosed or undiagnosed neurodiverse conditions are all welcome to join us. During school holidays, we will be running Family sessions (picnics, walks etc.) so that parents and children can attend together.
