About SPACE

We are a Hertfordshire-based charity committed to empowering and supporting neurodivergent children, young people, and their families through a range of specialist programmes and services.

As part of our work, we deliver targeted employment-focused support designed to help neurodivergent individuals develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to move towards work, volunteering, or further opportunities.

About the role

This post is hosted and employed by Hertsmere Mencap. The successful candidate will be contracted and paid by Hertsmere Mencap and will work in partnership with SPACE Hertfordshire to deliver this programme.

Hours: 12 hours per week, 1 years fixed term

📍 Location: Hertfordshire-wide, including Stanstead Abbotts and Hertsmere

💰 Salary: £18 per hour

📅 Closing date: 13th March 2026, 5pm (however we may close this earlier)

As our Employment Skills Trainer, you will play a key role in delivering our structured employment training programme in conjunction with Hertsmere Mencap.
