We will explore Neurodiversity and look at how we can implement practices across the key stages to support learners with Neurodevelopmental Conditions. We will look at how Neurodiversity presents, including the weaknesses for some in Executive Functions and introduce strategies that can be used within the classroom and whole school or setting environment.
- Develop a greater understanding of what Executive Functioning is.
- Understand the relationship between neurodiversity and executive functions.
- Understand how difficulties with Executive Functioning affects access to the curriculum.
- Leave equipped with the principal practical strategies for supporting the executive functions of your neurodiverse learners.

Together we will explore the traits of Neurodiversity and practical strategies and approaches to support children and young people at home. These will include strategies for emotional self regulation, executive functioning and sensory integration.
- Explore Neurodiversity and common co-occurrence with other Neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Understand more about executive functions and the difficulties some Neurodiverse children and young people experience with executive functions. We will also share strategies to support your children and young people at home with an emphasis on planning, organising and memory.
- Explore the sensory system and understand more about sensory processing. Look at sensory sensitivities that neurodiverse children and young people may experience. Share strategies to support these differences that you can take home and try.
- Explore emotional self regulation with a particular focus on looking at an array of practical strategies and approaches you can use to help to support your children and young people to regulate their emotions.
